The
roped - off swimming area is approximately fifty by sixty feet. The shoreline is curbed,
and there are two steps to enter into the water at a depth of about sixteen inches. The
drop off in the water is gradual with a depth of about four and a half to five feet at the raft.
|
Relax and enjoy the raft in the safe, sandy, roped-off swimming area. The large swimming dock provides plenty of room to lounge about while watching the children or working on that deep tan. The children can also run off that extra energy at the playground, equipped with swings, slide, sand box, basketball hoop, and teeter-totter.
|
The swim raft is anchored in about 4 feet of water, perfect for family fun.

On land or in the water, volleyball will give you a good workout.

Family Fun at Rainbow's End Resort
is not limited to the folks who stay here.
Every Spring, ducks and geese start families somewhere
around the point on Ten Mile Lake.
In the morning, Mom and Dad take their fledglings for a swim
along the shore past us. Around 3 or 4 in the afternoon,
they will come back. As the weeks go on, the babies grow.
After a while, Mom will fly around overhead as they
make their morning processional. Soon after, they are out on their own.
