Next year, panfish will still be worth $5 - the cost of a couple's button.
Game fish from past years are worth $25.

prize winning crappie on May 25, 2003.
Must be a good year for catching tagged fish.
We had our second winner on June 4th!
The winner was Aaron, front left with the Fish-O-Rama button,
from Tiskilwa, Illinois. That's on Big Bureau Creek,
not far from LaSalle/Peru, Illinois. He brought his
own cheering team with him.

Fish-O-Rama Rules: Must have purchased a 2005 Fish-O-Rama button and registered prior to catching the tagged fish Buttons are available from Chetek area resorts and businesses at $3 each, $5 for a husband/wife button and $6 for a family button which includes parents and children through age 15. Tagged panfish are worth $25 to $500 each all summer long from May 7 -October 1, 2005. Only 2005 Fish-O-Rama tags are eligible for 2005 Fish-O-Rama prizes. Fish with previous years' tags may still be turned in for cash -- game fish are worth $25 each -- panfish are worth $5 each. To determine value and/or sponsor of the tagged fish take it to the Rod & Gun Sport Shop in downtown Chetek. |
