The Fairlawn Mansion is nearby, also right on 53, and is well worth the stop. The mansion has the usual tour guides, and is said to have an unusual one, also. This young lady will help visitors find an exhibit, and then simply vanish. This ghostly guide reportedly has friends who are seen near the old swimming pool in the basement. Good natured, helpful ghosts are hard to find today, but you may meet them at Fairlawn Mansion in Superior, WI.
