Day Trip: Carson Park, Eau Claire, WI

Carson Park a 134-acre peninsula nestled inside horseshoe-shaped Half Moon Lake, in Eau Claire, is home to three historic attractions:

• Chippewa Valley Museum    
• Chippewa Valley Railroad    
• Paul Bunyan Logging Camp

Don't get it wrong, when we say "historic", we don't mean "boring". These sites include displays, activities, and presentations that are interesting to young and old!

If you're here at just the right time in June, you can join in the fun at a real carnival at Sawdust City Days in Carson Park.

Getting There
