Hiking and Biking
Northwestern Wisconsin in the Chetek area is mostly rural, agricultural, and forested. Hiking and biking trails are nearby.
Winter visitors find hundreds of miles of marked snowmobile trails throughout the state. Many of these trails are available for hiking, biking or ATVs in the summer.

About 1.8 miles west of Chetek on County I is the Bill Ohde Nature Walk. Take a walk along grassy fields and pine trees where wildlife can observe the human visitors from a safe distance. Bird houses in tall grass are skirted by mowed pathways for everyone's convenience.
